“I stopped calling her for four days, then she gave me a chance” — Timi Dakolo recounts how he met his wife

Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has shared the story of how he met his wife, revealing that he initially faced repeated rejection before she eventually gave him a chance.

According to the singer, he first noticed his wife, Busola, in church and approached her for her phone number. He later took her on a date but said she continued to friend-zone him despite his efforts to win her over.

“I saw a beautiful girl in church and got her number. I took her on a date, but she kept friend-zoning me, even after I started driving her to work every day.

“I stopped calling for four days… then she called and gave me a chance. That’s how I met my wife.”
